Genesis 6:1-6
In reading and listening to preachers and writers, we have the feeling we are living in the end times because of the great evil we have in the world today. God saw great evil in the days of Noah, was it greater than we see today? I do not have that answer but I do know that in his day, Noah was the only good man God found.

In looking at our world today, we see more people who love and serve the Lord, and not just those in the pulpit. Does this mean we don't have to worry about God destroying mankind? No, as God has a specific day when Christ will return that even Christ does not know (see Matt. 24:36).

We are living in evil times but God still expects us to live as his messages to the unsaved. If we do what God wants, we will still see evil in this world but we will also see many won to Christ and living for him. Churches like the Advent Christian church will stop getting smaller, instead they will become a stronger light in a world of darkness.

Dear Lord, help us to live our lives for you, leading to a growth in the fellowship unseen since the early church.
