Life has its Red Sea moments, how we relate to them will show our obedience and trust in God. We will either lean on God in these times or grumble and be afraid. God knows the plans he has for our life (Jeremiah 29:11). When we step out into the unknown, he has already gone on before us preparing the way.
God had brought the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt; they were to journey to the land God had promised. The Red Sea was before them, Pharaoh's Army behind them. They wanted to go back to Egypt. Afraid of the unknown territory and the Sea that lay before them, they cried out to Moses, who obeyed God. The Sea parted and they walked on dry land.
When God is working in your life, go forward to the place or places God wants you to be. God will lead you through and smite your enemies as he did for the Israelites. We are not to fear.
"God is for us. "Look to him!"
