Did you ever think of Psalm 23 as a love story? As I was thinking about what to share about this most familiar Psalm it came to me. Sheep lose their beauty as they age. I know. I had a pet lamb when I was a child. But they never outgrow their need for someone to care for them. They need a shepherd who loves them and will care for them. David, who spent his early years as a shepherd had loved and cared for his flock. Now later, as he looked at his daily tasks, he could see how God cared for him.
