I'm not a math whiz but I do understand compound interest from investments. Once upon a time, you could go to the bank, buy a bond and receive interest on your investment. As the bond increased in value, the interest percentage would be applied to the larger sum of money yielding yet another larger sum of money. Those regular adjustments helped in achieving financial goals. In many ways God demonstrates a better math formula that he follows. Today we read the words:
"He asked you for life, and you gave it to him - length of days, for ever and ever. Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty. Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence. For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken."
The more we seek the Lord and walk with him, we experience blessings beyond our merit. In fact, this type of math was designed by God in the beginning and it was called GRACE.
"Grace, grace, God's grace, grace that is greater than all our sin!"
