Never Alone

Since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, we are cursed beings living on a cursed world. Job is reminding us that as long as we live on this cursed world, we are going to suffer until the day we die, or our Lord returns. We all go through times like Job, when the trials of this world seem more than we can bear. However, we always have hope. Our trials will only last for a season, if we keep our eyes on the Lord and not on this world and its sorrows. God is always with us, even in the trials of our lives. He promises not to leave us nor forsake us. We are to look at the trials of life as a time to strengthen our relationship with him. Faith can only grow stronger when it is practiced. Practice requires trials. Whatever you are going through this day, remember you are not facing it alone. Just as Job was rewarded for his faith and trust in God, so you will be blessed if your faith is strong and your eyes are on the Lord. We know our reward is coming soon. The Lord promised.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your promise to always be with me, especially when I face trials in my life. Help me to be strong and to keep my eyes on you. In Jesus' name, amen.
