As you read this part of the Exodus story, you almost have to chuckle at poor Pharaoh's desperation to get rid of the Israelites. God really showed his spectacular power to both the Israelites and the Egyptians as he sent one plague after the other. Can you picture the Egyptians shooing the huge crowds of people, animals and property out of the country? These people had lived in this place for 430 years. They were leaving the only home they knew and it wasn't all joy. They were trusting God to provide and Moses to lead. That was huge! How are you trusting God to provide? Is God asking you to move, change jobs, be a witness to his greatness or any number of things? It amazes me how quickly the Israelite people forgot the miracles they witnessed. Let's not forget what God does for us on a daily basis. Let's not forget to put all our trust in him who is able.
Lord, you are the great provider and we praise you for that!
