When we create safe and stable environments for all children, we promote a healthier and more productive community, lower health care costs, and decreased incarceration rates. Unfortunately, Adverse Childhood Experiences, also known as ACEs, undermine this goal of a solid future for Tennessee. We all play a role in creation of a sustainable society with a healthy workforce by preventing and mitigating ACEs in our children today.

Kristen Rector will be offering the Building Strong Brains ACEs training to the class and alumni of Leadership Middle Tennessee on April 4 from 12:00-1:30. The training will be held at Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee (PCAT), located in the Compassion Collaborative building at 600 Hill Avenue. Light lunch will be provided to those that RSVP to Kristen ( kristen.rector@pcat.org ).
