County of Kauaʻi Summer Internship Opportunity
The County of Kaua'i is excited to provide a Summer Internship Program where student interns gain invaluable hands-on experience in local government and an opportunity to learn more about the County of Kaua'i.
The program is designed to provide student interns with experience in various areas such as engineering, accounting, information technology, science, human resources, business administration, planning, and many more!
Internship Start Date: Flexible, and may vary by position
Pay rate: starting at $15.00/hour
Internship Period: minimum six (6) weeks, full-time (may have availability for extensions depending on funding)

Kauai CC Career Ladder Nursing Program Accreditation Visit
On Wednesday March 12th, from 2- 3 p.m., the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) will be hosting a Public meeting in the Office of Continuing Education and Training (OCET) building in OCET 106 C & D. ACEN welcomes the public to talk to them about the program.

Pride Scholarship
Kauaʻi Pride Parade & Festival promotes and celebrates peace, acceptance, and unity for everyone on our island, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, or background.
Three (3) $1,500 scholarship awards are available to students who will be enrolled in school at a college, university, technical or vocational institute, or other specified continued education program between June 2025 and June 2026.
This award is open to anyone regardless of gender, sex, or orientation, including allies of LGBTQIA2s+ communities. Applicants should demonstrate a strong connection to the LGBTQIA2s+ community. Applicants must reside on Kauaʻi at the time of application, or be based on Kauaʻi if attending school elsewhere. Previous recipients of the Kauaʻi Pride Scholarship are not eligible to re-apply; however, prior applicants from previous years(s) who did not receive the scholarship award are encouraged to re-apply.
Application deadline is April 30, 2025, and awardees will be announced on June 7, 2025.

Lei Fundraiser
Kū Pono I Hoʻokahi Hawaiʻi, KCC Hawaiian Club will be holding a lei fundraiser for upcoming graduations. The lei will be handmade by our club members. We are now accepting pre-orders for the following lei styles: Lei poʻo, Lei haku, Lei lāʻī (ti-leaf), Lei kui (sewn flowers). Please fill out the form and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
