  • Remember that the districts do not pay for registration fees, lunch, study hall, certain science lecture classes and any other class that they have told you they will not cover. When you are in Orbund, double check that you are in the correct semester.
  • You MUST satisfactorily complete any requirements as specified by the district in order to be eligible for district funding. Count requirements are listed below.
  • If you have questions about what they will pay for, please reach out to Ken Janczarek, Clarkston representative at: kpjanczarek@clarkston.k12.mi.us
  • Verified and approved district funding credits will be applied to your account once count is complete, usually by mid March.
  • If balances are not paid in full by registration for the following semester your account will be blocked from being able to register until the balance is paid in full.
  • If you do not complete your Fast Five Feedbacks, you are jeopardizing your district funding.

Health and Safety Update
We are working closely with Clarkston Community Schools to stay on top of the latest information being given to public schools as well as keeping a close eye on any CDC updates and  https://www.michigan.gov/coronavirus  among other things.

At the time of this writing, we will be having classes at our Clarkston and Shelby Twp locations, tomorrow, March 13th. If the public schools in those areas close, we will close as well.

Your safety and wellbeing are our priority and so we want to assure you that we are taking precautions to stop the spread of viruses of all kinds, including coronavirus and the flu. Staff and faculty are washing their hands often and thoroughly along with having students wash theirs when they come to campus, in between classes, before and after lunch and at the end of the day. All surfaces are being thoroughly cleaned, including but not limited to door handles, tables, computers, and bathroom faucets. We are asking that students not share writing utensils and have switched to having our supervisors digitally check students in and out. As mentioned in our last e-mail, please remember that these viruses are most harmful to young children, the elderly, and those with underlying health issues. If you have anyone in your home that is at risk please keep them safe at home. In addition, if anyone in your home has symptoms of the flu or coronavirus, specifically fever, cough, body aches or chills, please keep them home. If students or staff present with symptoms on campus we will be sending them home immediately. We want everyone to be safe and comfortable and if that means keeping your student(s) home we encourage you to do what is best for your family.

Lastly, we are working on plans for extra virtual content should we need to close campuses for an extended period of time. We will keep you updated as more information is available.

Box Tops are going digital!
You can STILL turn in your box tops to any campus!

You can also begin digitally turning them! Download the app ("Box Tops for Education"). Watch this video for instructions on how it works. Read FAQ's here . IT'S SO EASY!

  • Scan your receipt. - That's it!

The app automatically finds your purchased items with box tops on them for you! No more turning them into campus!

To give Homeschool Connections your credits, please search by our zip code (48326). Then choose "Home School Connections" (we are working to get the spelling corrected).
