Community Update Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Communication sent on behalf of the Quail Creek Country Club Property Owners Association Board of Directors.
The Quail Creek Country Club Property Owners Association Board has been monitoring news and developments on the coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local and state health departments.

Our highest priority is the health and well-being of our residents, guests, and staff. Because the risk to our homeowners is greater than to the general public, we will be implementing preventative measures to help limit the potential exposure to COVID-19.

The following facilities will be CLOSED effective March 15 th until March 31 st , at which time we will reassess developments and information provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local and state health departments:

  • Madera Clubhouse, including meeting rooms, library, including Coffee Bar
  • Kino Conference Center
  • ANZA Fitness Center
  • Pickleball Ramada reservations for group parties
  • Creative Arts and Technology Center
  • The Grill and Lounge

The Grill will be providing take-out meals with curbside pick-up through a limited menu beginning Monday, March 16 th . Meals can be ordered by calling 520-393-5806 11am-8pm Monday-Sunday. Payment will be through member card and credit card payment only at time of order. Unopened wine, beer, and liquor bottles will also available for purchase while supplies last.

The following facilities will remain OPEN . The enhanced cleaning protocol discussed earlier this week will remain in place for these open facilities:

  • Golf course operations.  Tee times only. No organized club play or shotguns after Wednesday March 18th.
  • Tennis facilities: Individual play scheduled through the court reservation system. No organized Club play.
  • Pickleball facilities: Individual play scheduled through the court reservation system. No organized Club play.
  • Bocce courts. Individual play. No organized Club play.
  • Outdoor pool areas
  • Dog park
  • Concierge
  • Administrative and Food & Beverage Office

The management teams throughout all of Robson properties are particularly worried about the acute shortage of cleaning and sanitation supplies that would be needed to keep facilities like The Grill and the ANZA Fitness Center in the proper condition. Suppliers simply aren’t able to keep up with the current demands for paper products and sanitation supplies.

In addition, all large community events have been cancelled or suspended until further notice. This includes theater performances, bands and concerts, etc.

Finally, all board meetings and committee meetings are cancelled until further notice, including ALC meetings. However the ALC office will be open to accept submittals and reviews.

We will provide regular updates regarding our efforts to protect our residents and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented situation.

What you can do to protect yourself and others:
The CDC recommends a number of steps you can take to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
  • CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
  • Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others. The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility).
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
