Free Webinar - Faith Leaders Make A Difference
Shawn Stapleton, Center for Congregational Leadership Workshop Coordinator
Victims of domestic violence are more likely to disclose abuse to someone in their faith community than they are to seek help from law enforcement. As a faith leader, you can offer unconditional acceptance and spark hope where others cannot. The Center for Congregational Leadership is offering a free webinar on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 12 p.m. CT, entitled “Domestic Violence: Signs and Responses.” This webinar will be led by Jen Shtab, the Trainer for the Hillsborough County (FL) Coordinated Community Response to Domestic Violence. Jen coordinates and presents training sessions to key stakeholders working to identify and fill gaps in our existing system, and has educated hundreds of audiences in the fields of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault.
