New Pastor Announcement
Effective July 1, 2024, Cardinal Cupich has appointed Fr. Jacque (Jake) Beltran as the new pastor at St. Joseph Parish, and Fr. John Trout as Pastor of St. Anne in Barrington.
Currently serving as Vice-Rector, Dean of Formation, and Director of Admissions at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake, Fr. Jake brings extensive experience, having served as the former Pastor of Most Blessed Trinity in Waukegan, IL and as a U.S. Navy Chaplain. Please join us in welcoming Fr. Jake as we look forward to the blessings he will bring to our community.
Fr. Jake has stated, “I am excited, grateful, and blessed to serve as your new pastor of a very vibrant, faith-filled, and welcoming parish. I have heard so many good things about St. Joe’s parish in Libertyville, especially from Fr. John Trout, Fr. John Hennessy, Fr. John Kartje, seminarians assigned to our parish for TTPP, as well as some faculty who are also parishioners. I look forward to serving the parishioners of St. Joseph’s in close collaboration with the parish staff and leadership and to supporting the life-giving mission of the parish.”
We're grateful for Fr. Trout's 13 years of devoted ministry within our community, and we offer our prayers for his success in his new parish. Please save the date for Fr. Trout’s Farewell Mass & Reception on June 22, 2024!
