Hello Coug Nation!
As a kickoff to Sisterhood Week, we marked the Solemnity of St. Joseph with a full Mass this past Thursday. We observe this special day and witness the renewal of vows and commitments by the Sisters of Saint Joseph and the CSJ Associates, a cherished Carondelet tradition. This year was extra special as two of our amazing staff members, Edie Payne and Rick Grand-Lejano, publicly committed to becoming CSJ Associates for the first time.
This week, our Spiritual Life Council will honor individuals who embody Heart, Faith, Courage, and Excellence with special recognition during 5th period. These nominations, submitted by peers, teachers, and staff, highlight how the Sisterhood is found through ordinary and intentional acts of connection.
On Monday, we have our Spring “Baking a Difference” event, where students completing Cougar Service Projects will be selling baked goods to raise money for Dorothy’s Place, Girls on the Run, and White Pony Express. It’s $6 for a box, which includes three baked goods.
On Tuesday, Green Team will be hosting an activity called “Sisterhood Rocks” at lunch in the Amp. Students are invited to paint affirmations on rocks that will later be distributed around campus.
On Wednesday, our DEI Council will be hosting its annual Cultural Festival. This year’s theme is “Kaleidoscope of Culture.” During this B-lunch event, students will have the opportunity to see multiple cultural performances, try a variety of foods, and learn about the various cultures that enrich our community.
On Thursday, our Choir will head down to Anaheim for their annual competition. Break a leg, y’all!
On Friday, after Class Meetings, the whole school will come to the Amphitheatre to take part in our annual “Break the Chain” dance. Since 2012, the Carondelet community has taken part in this dance as both an act of solidarity with all women who have experienced dating violence and sexual assault, as well as a commitment to break this chain of violence against women. Students are invited to wear pink tops on this day. All tops must be within dress code guidelines, which means they must have sleeves and fall below the waistline. And as always, this is not a day to wear slippers or flip flops.
Happy Sisterhood Week!

| | | Thank You Carondelet Families! | | |
Carondelet families, we are filled with gratitude beyond words. During Giving Day last week, our community came together in the most beautiful and inspiring way, showing up for our students with extraordinary generosity and heart.
Because of 456 supporters, we raised an incredible $219,506 for Giving Day. Every gift, every shared message, every word of encouragement helped carry us across the finish line and reminded us once again what makes the Carondelet community so special.
The Class of 2028 won the Class Cup Competition with the greatest participation! They have free dress on Monday, March 16, with leggings and their orange class color tops. Shirts must have sleeves and fall below the waistline.
One of the most moving parts of the day was watching our students lead the way at the Phone-a-Thon. Hearing them share their stories, express their gratitude, and witness firsthand the kindness of this community was incredibly powerful. They were filled with pride and amazement as they realized just how many people are cheering them on and investing in their future.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for believing in our mission, in our students, and in the future we are building together.
And if you did not have the opportunity to participate on Giving Day, there is still time to make a meaningful difference and show that you Believe in Her. ♥️

Skirt Length Check-In
With the warmer weather, we’re seeing more skirts on campus. Please take a moment this weekend to ensure your daughter’s skirt aligns with our dress code. Skirts should fall below the fingertips (approximately 4 inches above the knee) and must be from Lands' End. Lululemon and other athleisure skirts are not permitted. As always, the primary responsibility for a student’s attire rests with the student and their parents/guardians. Multiple skirt length violations will result in the loss of skirt privileges. If your daughter needs a refresh, new skirts and skorts are available in our Lands' End store. We appreciate your support!
2026–27 Parking Permit Requests
Parking permit request links will be available starting Tuesday, April 14. The links will close on Friday, April 17. Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate all student drivers. Priority is given in the following order:
- Seniors
- Juniors with carpools
- Juniors driving individually
Please carefully review the instructions on the parking page to ensure your student follows the correct process. Additionally, parking permit request links will only accept submissions from Carondelet student email accounts.
