Thank you to the parents, students, and families that stopped at the Mt. Nebo Campus yesterday for prayer.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. I John 5:14-15 KJV

Chapel News

Last week, the Berkeley Hills Campus welcomed Joel Gray, Pirates Community Outreach Coordinator, who presented the Long Live Their Legacy honoring Negro League Baseball. Students enjoyed the interactive presentation!

P ittsburgh is one of the few cities that had two Negro League teams, the Homestead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords , and both thrived before Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Many Negro League games were played at Greenlee Field in Pittsburgh's Hill District.

Students enjoyed the interactive presentation learning about the League, its ties to Pittsburgh, and the significant role it plays in our game today.
