St. Rita School inspires students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing and faith-filled Catholic environment.
We prepare students to be morally responsible, innovative thinkers who, in today’s technology-guided global community, live and share the Love of Christ.

Dear St. Rita Families,

Thank you for all your support over the past few days as we have transitioned to on-line learning. I will continue to update you daily this week but hope that by next week our communication can be only through our Constant Contact. Please be assured now that school is closed we will do our part to make sure your child continues to learn and grow. Also, when your children return to school our building will be clean, disinfected, and fully sanitized.

Next Sunday marks the beginning of the 4th week in Lent. Lent is a time to replicate the time Jesus Christ spent in the desert fasting and praying. Over the next few weeks as a family, spend time in prayer -- pray the Rosary, read the Bible, attend virtual Stations of the Cross, watch Sunday Mass, join an on-line prayer group and continue to do good deeds. Improve your family’s spiritual well-being by becoming more mindful of how God is working in our lives and in our world.

Finally I leave you with an Irish prayer in honor of St. Patrick’s Day and to help navigate these new normal days:

May God give you …..
For every storm, a rainbow
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in you.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we believe in your love for us.

Thank you for entrusting your child/ren to our care. Have a safe and healthy week.

God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi

Does Your Company Offer Volunteer Grants?
Volunteer grant programs, also known as “Dollars for Doers” programs, are corporate giving programs created to encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work.
Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees volunteer regularly.

Please take a moment and ask if your employer participates in a Volunteer Grants Program. Your time and talent at St. Rita School could turn into dollars for our school! Questions? Feel free to contact Joanne Bruno at  jbruno.stritaschool@gmail.com .
