By March 29, record your Scouting for Food results here.

Scouting for Food Patches will be distributed once the council has received your report.
Spring Candy Sale

The spring sale is held to help Scouts earn money to help pay for Day Camp, Cub Resident Camp, Scouts BSA Summer Camp, and High Adventure trips. The Northern Lights Council is partnering with World's Finest Chocolate again this year!

Important Dates:

The deadline for the initial order was March 16, but if your unit missed that one, it's not too late!

  • Place order with the council by Noon on April 6 for delivery by April 16

The district executive for your area will contact the unit coordinator to arrange pick up of the product. Some extra product will be available for units that sell everything they received and need more.

Recruit New Members to your Pack or Troop

If your pack/den or troop has an active summer program that includes a few activities planned by the unit and promotes attendance at Council-operated summer camp. You should do a recruitment campaign!

The spring is a great time to recruit kindergartners to become Tigers and go to camps. OR to recruit 5th graders to be a part of the new patrol with Arrow of Light cross-overs. One of the top reasons that families join Scouting is to participate in our camping programs. Signup in the spring and go that summer!
