 Donations sought for Child Life
A Community Outreach initiative for the WSAE April 15 program
During the April 15 program, the Community Outreach team will be collecting donations for the Child Life Program at The UW Health American Family Children's Hospital. Since its opening in 2007, nearly 500,000 patients from every corner of Wisconsin and almost every state have received care at American Family Children's Hospital or their specialty pediatric clinics. From the Child Life specialists who help children feel more at ease during their stay and procedures, to supporting research to bring innovative treatment and care to children with cancer, your donation can help all children who come through our doors. Child Life accepts both in-kind and monetary donations. Donated items must be new, in original package, latex free, and non-violent. Please, no food or candy, as patients may not be able to consume these products. Please see the current Child Life Wish List and bring your donation to the community outreach table at the April 15 WSAE meeting. |

WSAE makes it easy to get answers and connect with peers
Recently, a WSAE member brought up the topic of CEO transitions and succession planning and asked if there were other members who wanted to participate in a discussion about it. WSAE set up and promoted the meeting and, ultimately, 10 CEOs come together for an engaging discussion. There were great takeaways from people who were currently in transitions, who had been through them recently, and who will be going through them in the future. It was a rewarding meeting for all involved.
Let us help you, too! Are there hot topics that you need to bounce off of your peers? Is there something going on in your organization that you want feedback on? Are you curious about what other organizations are doing to address a certain topic? Contact WSAE with your questions. We'll set up a meeting for you, confirm the location (unless you have an idea of your own or want to host), take care of logistics and get the word out. We'll make it easy for you to get answers and connect with your peers.

| Peer-to-Peer Discussion Groups

The next conference call for the Member Engagement group will be on Wed., March 27 at 8 a.m. This discussion will focus on how associations can collaborate and work together, meeting their financial goals and objectives while providing value to members from both or all associations involved. Call in at 610-214-0200, access code 929936#.
Is there a topic that you'd like to take a deeper dive into? Something happening in your organization that you'd like to get feedback on? Start or join a peer-to-peer discussion group. Find out more here.
