AOPA Regional Fly-In: Saturday, April 26th

As you've hopefully heard by now, the San Marcos Airport is hosting the first-ever AOPA Regional Fly-In!

Please join us early on Saturday, April 26th for a pancake breakfast and AOPA Pilot Town Hall with President Mark Baker.

Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to attend a variety of educational seminars and roam the ramp to check out the static aircraft displays and vendor exhibits.

To help ensure an accurate count, AOPA is asking its members to please RSVP.

Navy Parachute Operations

Between April 23-30, the Navy, with Air Force assistance, will practice tactical parachute jumps.

They will utilize San Marcos as a staging area and will jump at various locations around the region.

Please know that when jumps take place at HYI, they will be scheduled with the tower during early morning or late evening hours and will not interfere with regular operations.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

On Thursday, March 20 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm the Commemorative Air Force will host the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce Business After-Hours mixer. The event is co-hosted by Redbird Skyport and Texas Aviation Partners.

This is a fantastic opportunity to network with local business owners while checking out some fantastic vintage airplanes! We hope to see you all there.
