Varsity Film Screening on March 23!
Join us March 23, 2016 at Varsity Theatre in Chapel Hill  for a private screening of "She's Beautiful When She's Angry!"
7:00 p.m.


Celebrate Women's History Month with the screening of a film detailing the stories behind the women who founded the modern women's movement. The film will be followed by a panel on women's issues featuring local activists and representatives from the Compass Center, the UNC Department of Women's and Gender Studies, and the Carolina Women's Center. This event is free, optional  donations will be accepted

Run with Team Compass Center  or  make a donation , raising funds in support of the vital programs and services we offer in our community. The 5K and Kids Fun Run will be held in Pittsboro on April 2nd. The 10K and half marathon will be held in Carrboro.  JOIN US!

Free Tax Preparation!

Free tax preparation is available to q ualified low- to moderate-income people, offered by trained and IRS-certified volunteers through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Compass Center for Women and Families still has Monday appointments available through April 11 at the Chapel Hill Public Library! Take advantage of four new career workshops being offered on Wednesdays at the Chapel Hill Public Library. Hear from career counselors and experts in the field on topics like navigating change, time management, creating your best elevator speech, and using social networks in your career and job search. Don't miss out!
