Ron's Gourmet Ice Cream is open for the season! It's a sure sign that spring is right around the corner when the lights in the shop are on and the Ron's team is serving up scoops of their irresistible ice cream. Go ahead, treat yourself. You deserve it!
 

Market News - There's lots going on behind-the-scenes as we line up vendors for the 10th season (yes, 10th!) of the Dedham Farmers Market. Many of your favorites have already confirmed and some exciting new ones will be added, too. We are seeking a new market manager this season. ¡Feliz Aniversario! On Tues. March 14, Pancho's Taqueria will celebrate its first anniversary with a mariachi playing from 6-8 pm. It will be quite a festive celebration! Head to Pancho's, order some of the best Mexican food around, enjoy a margarita, and toast our friends at Pancho's for a spectacular first year!

Smooth Moves - Students at Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Dedham Square won big at the 10th Annual Eastern U.S. Dancesport Championships held in Boston last month. Congrats to instructor Kemar Bennett, students Linda Ayoub, Maria Fuentes, Linda Kickham, and Jennifer Santos, who took first place in a variety of events!

Music Notes - Boston City Singers host a special fundraising event at Dedham Square Coffeehouse on Sun. 3/5.

Art Beat - The Dedham Square Artist Guild's artist of the Month for March is ceramic artist, Jane Wojick, the newest member of the Guild. Meet Jane and see her stunning creations at her opening reception on Thurs. 3/9.

Encore!
The Parish Players, the local multigenerational theatre company affiliated with First Church of Dedham, will perform their rendition of Once Upon a Mattress in four shows the weekend of 3/31.

Time for a Story - Preschool Story Times are held at The Blue Bunny every Monday and Tuesday at 10:30 am with a few short stories followed by a simple craft. The Dedham Public Library also hosts a drop-in story time at 10:30 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Main Library and on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Endicott Branch. All are welcome. Free!

live music Live Tunes - The Dedham Square Coffeehouse has another fantastic lineup of live music this month featuring some of Greater Boston's best local talent. Shows every Friday and Saturday night starting at 8:30. No cover! Click here for show schedule.

summer camp Happy Campers - registration for DCH's hugely popular summer camp and pre-school summer program begins Mon. 3/6. Don't wait, spots go fast!

Date Night - This month DCH is offering its fun Saturday Night Kids Club again. A great babysitting option for parents who want a kid-free night on the town. Sat. 3/18.
Around Town
Right Up Your Alley - Bowl for a Cure Kickoff for Dedham/Needham/Wellesley Relay for Life.  Sun. 3/12 from 4-7 pm at Kings (Legacy Place).

Smarty Pants - The Dedham Education Foundation will host its Annual Spelling Bee on Fri. 3/10 and a 25th Anniversary Gala on Fri. 3/31.

ramble Clean Team - Earth Day cleanup on Saturday, 4/29 from 9am -12pm sponsored by the Charles River Watershed Association and the Town of Dedham Environmental Department. Earth Day cleanups are great for families, friends, organizations, schools and businesses. Click here to sign up.
