The Latest News from the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary
2018 has barely begun and we are already seeing incredible momentum and growth with the Sanctuary! In the last few months, over 220 NEW volunteers have signed up to assist with events, corporate work days, property maintenance and so much more. Our in-school programming is now branching out to the Bridgeport, CT public schools, bringing nature-based and compassionate education straight to the students. We’ve seen people from across the country creating their own Sanctuary fundraisers through Facebook, GoFundMe and our Do It Yourself links.

Through Catherine’s Pledge, we’re hearing from children, families and individuals the steps they are taking to make the world a kinder place for all, whether donating to their local animal shelter, giving a smile or a hug to someone in need, cleaning up garbage or putting out seeds for wildlife. We’re even giving nature a hand as we work to build Citizen Scientists through the Great Amphibian Migration and Great American Birdcount initiatives. It all makes a difference...one good deed at a time.

We know it can be hard to witness the events in the world that don’t align with compassion but if we continue to focus on the light, we will always rise above the darkness. Together, we can show the world how it’s done and fulfill a vision of peace and kindness for all.
