Sam is a handsome German Shepherd and was surrendered to our shelter due to the currently family having a baby.  Sam is approximately 5 years old, up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations and will be neutered.  We have been informed that Sam can be skittish at first, but wouldn't you be when misplaced from an environment you are familiar with and plopped into a noisy chaotic shelter?  Once outside and walking, Sam was gentle and obedient and he became more settled and comfortable.  We were told that Sam is crate trained, and is large, so could be a little rough around small children, only because of his size.  Sam does enjoy walks on a leash, playing in the yard, going for runs with you and playing fetch.  He knows some basic commands and is a smart boy and learns quickly!  Sam is waiting patiently for you to come and visit him to see if he would be a good additional to your pack.

Turtle is a gorgeous black female short hair  cat who is just aching to be in a home!  This tiny little girl is roughly 6 or so lbs, and was found at the Greene Turtle in La Plata and promptly named Turtle.  Let's just clear something up, she is NOT as slow as a turtle!  This little girl can move and grove and is so loving life meeting new friends and jumping around in our free roaming kitty city!

Turtle is up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, is spayed, and would like nothing better than to explore a new home and entertain her new family.  If Turtle is a little too young, we have many other cats of all ages and sizes to come and visit.
