Take Our Survey and You Could Win Great Prizes  

The CDA is surveying ALL Colorado dentists about their experiences with the Take 5/pay-for-performance program to gather data on what influenced them to sign up or not sign up as Medicaid providers when the program expanded in 2014.  Take the survey.
Annual X-Ray Fees Due April 30 

The annual x-ray facility registration fee dentists are required to pay is due April 30. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment implemented this x-ray facility registration fee in 2016, requiring dentists to pay a $50 fee and update their facility information annually.  Learn more.

Dentistry is at a crossroads when it comes to prescribing opioids for dental pain. ADA President Dr. Joseph Crowley wrote "Preventing Opioid Abuse from the Dental Chair," with ways for dentists to implement practices to help ensure safe and effective prescribing of pain medications.  Here's how you can take action.

Medicaid Provider Rate Review Committee Seeks Input 

This advisory committee assists the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing in the review of provider rates to determine whether rates are sufficient to ensure client access and provider retention. Its next meeting is April 3.  Here's how you can participate.
