David will demo in his, "expressive, colorful California Vibe Watercolor Portraiture™ style". He often converts his color reference photos into black and white so as not to be influenced by the original color.

Draw from Life.
Why? Because working from the live model teaches you the art of drawing - concepts like action (gestures), structure and edges (soft and hard). One of the great surprises in art is that drawing from a model won't just improve your figures, but also your landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
