Happy March

We have almost made it through a "not too bad so far" winter. So sorry we were not able to open the shop and have our first Saturday Socials on Feb 2nd, but our local streets were nasty. We did have fun the next day at our impromptu Super Bowl party and thanks to those of you who made it out for that!

Sam had his first turn on the sewing machine with me a few weeks ago. He chose the fabrics from my stash and we had a great time sewing them together and "trying the quilt on",so we could make it big enough to cover him. Very fun day!

While I was in the sun last week, a ton of great fabric arrived and we are ready for spring and summer projects. Ashley has posted new fabrics on social media so you might have seen some of them. Thanks as usual to my fantastic staff who enable me to spend time with my family and to get away a bit. There are so many fun things coming up and details are below. We are back to 9-5 M-F and 9-4 Sat starting tomorrow so that's always a good sign that the days are getting longer!! I'm ready for pansies and daffodils! Stop in to see what's new. Hope to see you soon! - Kathy

Reds & Lights Quilt Challenge
This year, we invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Serendipity Quilt Shop Challenge as we celebrate our 11th Anniversary. Red happens to be Kathy’s favorite color so let’s shower her with Red Quilting love! The challenge is to pick a pattern and then use only Reds and Lights in fabrics of your choice to complete your project.

We plan to display and take a group photo before the 11th Anniversary celebration in June.
Below are the guidelines for this year’s challenge.
  1. Red and Light Fabric – Red must read as red fabric from a distance. No pink fabric. Light can be white, beige or cream.
  2. Project can be any quilt size, table runner, wall hanging, bag, etc. in any pattern you choose.
  3. Projects are due to be completed by 6/1/19 and should be a project that you start and finish in 2019, if possible.
  4. Have Fun!

Feel free to stop in or call the shop (302-732-6304) if you have questions.
