Our Cal State Fresno Student Chapter represented
at Scale in Seattle!
|
|
There were five Fresno State students that were able to attend SCALE 2020. Each student had different experiences, but they all seemed to all agree on one thing; there are a lot of job categories in the interior design profession! There is something for everyone. Going in, if someone asked you what you planned to do after you graduate, you were able to tell them. But leaving SCALE, you tend to rethink your options. Not that it’s a bad thing because now our students have more knowledge on what opportunities are out there for designers.
The students enjoyed all of the keynote speakers who shared their wisdom about the profession, as well as the presentation topics that were given to help our future careers.
Our very own Marisol Coria was recognized as one of the 2020 Student Volunteer of the Year Finalists. We are so proud of her! She is very engaged in our student club at Fresno State, and with the California Central / Nevada Chapter Board. She definitely deserved to be recognized.
We look forward to sending a new group of students to Scale 2021 in Washington DC!
