Shut Up in my Bones: Impassioned Church Members Speak
The prophet Jeremiah agonized with his vocation to speak in the name of the Lord. His struggle was so intense that he tried quitting and attempted silence. Here’s what happened: "If I say, ‘I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name’, then within me there is something like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot." Jeremiah 20

In our pews are people who are on fire, compelled to speak on issues that drive them. A group of them have been assembled this Lent to share their fervor with us.
Program launches Wednesday, March 4th . Bring an entrée or side dish to share; Christ Church will provide bread, beverages and desserts. Contact Kathy Hoyer at or at 973-383-5750 to assist with set-up and clean-up.
