Gardening Classes Start in April, in Compliance with Public Health Guidelines
Now more than ever, healthy amounts of fresh air feel therapeutic, and working outdoors with our hands is so very satisfying. Perhaps you have more free time this Spring to devote to developing your gardening skills. We still have 5 class openings in our 2020 Gardening Classes. Our Monday night Beginner Class starts on April 13th and our Wednesday night Intermediate Class starts on April 15th.

Class lessons will be taught in a virtual format while public health guidelines encourage social distancing. We will provide a revised, new-normal 2020 gardening class plan by the week of April 5th. Thank you for your patience. You can find more information about our Beginner Class here and our Intermediate class here.
Dreaming of Spring and Summer? Secure your CSA Share Today
Even though we’re cooped up inside a lot these days, we can cheer ourselves up a bit by imagining the taste of summer’s harvest. And spring’s blossoms will be here before we know it. As of Friday March 27, we only have 8 produce shares and 2 flower shares still available. Register here to pay by check and register here to pay by credit card. Additional Information about the produce and flower CSA can be found here. Please support Needham Community Farm during this difficult time, while treating yourself to healthy, locally-grown vegetables and blooms.
NCF’s Response to COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Farm is adopting even more rigorous food safety protocols to protect and preserve the safety of our community, staff, and volunteers. Our current plan is outlined here and our comprehensive food safety plan will be published by April 1st. Please contact Theresa Strachila with any questions at
Ready Set Grow! Online Auction Postponed

We have postponed our annual Ready Set Grow online auction as most items were not in keeping with current social distancing guidelines, and many of our donating businesses are temporarily closed. This cancellation was a difficult decision for NCF, because we rely on this fundraiser for 10% of our annual income. If you are in a position to help us replace, or expand upon, this otherwise lost or deferred income stream, please make a donation today to support Needham Community Farm’s food donation program.
Volunteer Opportunities on Hold
Due to the current social distancing practices, we have placed a temporary hold on all volunteer farm work. Once our circumstances change we will announce volunteer dates, times and opportunities. We love and deeply appreciate our volunteers and look forward to moving beyond our current restrictions.
