Dr. Carlos Campabadal traveled to Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, from March 8 to 13 to work as PI on the Appropriate Scale Mechanization Consortium (ASMC) of the USAID Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Sustainable Intensification (SIIL).
The goal was to check on the progress of each of the research projects of the value chain of corn and vegetables from planting to harvest, including irrigation. The team conducted a farmer survey to check on the results of the implementation of the technologies. Dr. Campabadal also presented a lecture on corn post-harvest technologies to the Bahir Dar Institute Technology faculty and graduate students.
