Recognizing outstanding staff
Staff were recognized on Feb. 5 for their Rise Award nominations. In addition, Julia Perez was honored as the CO of the Year, Ronetta Lewis-Ince was Supervisor of the Fourth Quarter, and Stephen Willoughby was recognized for his five years of service.
Emergency Communications Officer Lashonda Byrd collected and delivered donations to the Newport News Emergency Communications Center, as they deal with the loss of Officer Katie Thyne.

Dawn says she gets "the biggest rush" from helping her community. She is a volunteer firefighter with Prince George County, and she helps others as a member of the Red Knights Virginia Chapter 8 Motorcycle Club. Congratulations to Dawn!
