Defending the Early Years is joining forces with Haymarket Books, publisher of "Black Lives Matter in School," to host this webinar, on Wednesday, March 17 at 5 pm EDT.

Nancy Carlsson-Paige, DEY's founder and senior advisor, will serve as moderator.

Last month, DEY introduced its Advocacy Map. The map's purpose is to keep early childhood advocates informed about what is happening across the country that impacts early childhood education.

The Advocacy Map is a work in progress and will never be complete. We invite you to add to the Advocacy Map, informing others about what is going on in your state, town, community, or school.

We accept applications four times a year. Deadlines are: Sept. 1, Dec. 1; March 1, and June 1.

Applications will be reviewed and up to 12 awards will be granted per year.

Applicants can apply for a mini grant once per year. You can find more information about applying for a DEY mini grant here.
