Racial Diversity & Equity Data Sets

Addressing racial diversity and equity is a top priority to build a future for Vermont that is inclusive and equitable for all people. To make meaningful change starting with data, The Vermont Futures Project compiled racial diversity and equity data sets with support and guidance from the University of Vermont Center for Rural Studies.

Broadband Access & Needs

Vermont Chamber President Betsy Bishop joined Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray and panelists from VPIRG, Vermont Medical Society, AARP Vermont, and Vermont Principals' Association for a discussion on broadband access and needs in Vermont. Several news outlets reported on the event, including WAMC, WTEN, and The Caledonian Record.

The Vermont Council on Rural Development is interested in learning your thoughts to drive a successful future for our state. The Vermont Chamber supports this work through our foundation work at The Vermont Futures Project. This survey is an opportunity to express your highest priorities and emerging needs. SBA Accepting Applications for 2021 Vermont Emerging Leaders

The Small Business Administration is accepting applications for the 2021 Vermont Emerging Leaders Program which will be held virtually and is slated to begin in April. Emerging Leaders is an intensive executive-level series intended to accelerate the growth of high-potential small businesses in America’s underserved cities and rural areas.
