FOUNTAIN BEACH RESORT
Newsletter for March 2021

Spring is in the air and that means Bikes and great weather here at the beach! Spring Break and Bike Week are happening this month as well as many other events so don't miss out. Rates will be starting around $125 a night for non event dates and $201 a night to start for Bike Week.

Thank you to all of our guests and owners who have been supportive of the changes we have made due to COVID-19.
Protecting our employees and guests is uppermost in our minds, so plexiglass barriers have been installed at the front desk. Because our housekeepers perform a thorough cleaning of the rooms upon checkout, which takes a longer time period, we are unable to offer late checkouts at this time. Our continental breakfast has been discontinued for now, but you can obtain coffee packets at the front desk.

Housekeepers will only clean your room during your stay if you request it, but when they do the cleaning you will need to leave the room. The gym, hot tub and breakfast are closed; the pool deck chairs are spaced per social distancing guidelines. The lower portion of the pool deck has been a non-smoking area since January 1st of this year; however, smoking is permitted in other designated areas.

Effective June 28, 2020, the City of Daytona Beach adopted a resolution requiring residents and guests in the city to wear face coverings indoors in circumstances where social distancing is not possible. Therefore, we ask all guests to wear face coverings when in the common areas of the property, which mostly includes the hallways, lobby and elevators. When you're out on the beach, Beach Patrol will be enforcing beach restrictions, including groups to include no more than 6 people and social distancing if 10 feet or more.

Little River Band
March 25th

Through the '70's and '80's, Little River Band enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart topping hits like: "Reminiscing", "Cool Change", "Lonesome Loser", "The Night Owls", "Take It Easy On Me", and more. Bassist/vocalist Wayne Nelson joined the band in 1980, and worked alongside founding members with some of the most distinctive harmonies and vocal abilities, creating the unique LRB sound. One year later, guitarist extraordinaire Stephen Housden joined LRB bringing a rock element into the band's sound and helped contribute to their string of Top 10 hits.  As band members departed, both Housden and Nelson worked together to bring LRB into the new millennium.

To date, lead singer/bassist Wayne Nelson has contributed his vocal and bass guitar talents on 22 Little River Band Albums/CD's.  LRB continues to perform to sold out audiences, and Stephen Housden continues to write and participate in all things Little River Band. In November of 2016, LRB released, 'The Hits...Revisited,' on World Records - a CD consisting of 9 re-recorded hits along with 2 new songs.  Little River Band is Wayne Nelson, Chris Marion, Rich Herring, Ryan Ricks, and Colin Whinnery. With 90 -100 dates scheduled for their 2019 tour, Little River Band is hotter than ever selling out shows and making music from coast to coast nationwide continuing their legacy of being "the best singing band in the world.
