March, 2021

Fellow Chamber Members-

Today as I write this, I am prepping for a warm vacation, but am thrilled that temperatures here in Grafton have been close to 50 these past few days. I know that my husband is thankful for the rest that the snow blower is receiving and that my 4 month old puppy is finally enjoying some walks in the neighborhood again. I’m sure that he must have forgotten that the outdoors did extend beyond our back patio, the only place that his frozen family members wanted to step outside into.

From the Chamber’s perspective, the Board of Directors and Staff continue to develop creative strategies to help promote your businesses and to keep you up to date on local, state and federal initiatives related to COVID-19. I would encourage you to stay connected with our organization by reading our weekly Chamber Shorts, monthly Newsletter, and following us on Social Media. Remember, as a Chamber Member, you have the ability to share what is happening at your business to the GACC's 850 e-mail subscribers and with our more than 3,000 followers on Facebook. Just think about the number of people you could be reaching to promote your business if you work actively with the Chamber.

Last week, we had 40 participants join us for the first session of our 3-part Marketing Seminar Series. All session are via ZOOM, and you can find registration information for the next session, which will focus on Social Media Marketing, in this Newsletter.

As we move into spring, hopefully, sooner than later, we are cautiously optimistic and have begun discussions regarding the feasibility of holding in-person, socially-distanced, outdoor Chamber and Community events such as our Annual Meeting, the Giro d’ Grafton, Holidaze Where Music Plaze, Farmers Market and Ladies Night Out. We are hopeful that ONCE- Ozaukee Networking Chamber Exchange- events will resume in late summer. We will keep you in the loop regarding our plans, and if you have any questions, comments, or ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Pam at the Chamber.

Here’s to lots more warm and sunny days ahead!
