News from the Middlesex Chamber - March 2021
Member Spotlight: Investors Bank
Investors Bank is here to help. For the past year, the company has been providing unparalleled service to customers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic while still remaining a strong community partner through its foundation and various programs.

“Investors Bank has always been a community-based bank and that means more than ever during this difficult time,” said Michael Giacobello, Vice President and Advisory Board Relationship Manager. “Our branches have continued to be important lifelines for local businesses, many being negatively impacted by the pandemic.”

Through its charitable foundation in May, Investors provided a total of $1.13 million in financial grants to more than 170 not-for-profit organizations in both New Jersey and New York.

“At Investors, we do a great job of supporting non-profits that are responding to the unprecedented needs of so many communities,'' added Giacobello, who works from Investors Bank’s corporate office in Short Hills.

Investors also offers a Care2Share Affinity Program that can help clients give back to their preferred non-profit at no cost. After enrolling an eligible account, organizations receive a 0.25% donation annually from the bank once enrolled accounts reach 10 or more. Online banking has become a major part of the new normal at Investors Bank, a trend that is here to stay, according to Giacobello.

“People have learned that they are able to take care of many of their day-to-day banking needs online and moving forward, it will be a new, blended world and we hope to continue to help clients bank how they feel most comfortable,” he said.

Investors Bank values its involvement with the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, especially with how supportive this large business network has been during the pandemic.

“Our partnership with the Chamber has allowed us to gain some much-needed exposure within the business community in Middlesex County,” said Giacobello. “It has helped us get the message out that Investors is open for business and looking for new opportunities ”

Investors Bank is a proud sponsor of the chamber’s 75th Annual Bernie Cohn Golf Classic, taking place on May 13 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
