Book Review
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

5 stars out of 5 stars

Originally written in Portuguese, The Alchemist details the journey of young Santiago in the pursuit of his Personal Legend. He has chosen to live as a shepherd to fulfill his desire for travel, and believes himself to be content with a simple life. But when Santiago meets a Gypsy woman, his life quickly shifts course to allow him to discover himself and his purpose in the world. This story contains valuable lessons of following your dreams that will satisfy readers of every age. The Alchemist is a timeless novel that will surely give you a fresh perspective on your own life as you read about Santiago’s.

Good news! The library has not only the classic edition of this book but also a graphic novel version.
