WPSI Scholars
Receive a $1,000 scholarship from WPSI to help with school-related fees
We are happy to announce our new WPSI Scholar program in collaboration with Graduate! Philadelphia! WPSI Scholars will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward tuition for those who have been admitted into a degree, certification, or credentialing program, and have current or upcoming school-related fees.

Application for this year’s WPSI Scholar cohort is due on May 21, 2021. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
Assistance with Filing Taxes
One-on-One Tax Consultations
If you have any questions regarding filing your taxes sign up for a 1:1 session with Enrolled Agent, Taylor Keitt. An Enrolled Agent is a tax advisor who is a federally-authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Taylor will be providing one-on-one consultations for alumni who need assistance with filing their taxes or have specific questions.
Groundskeeper Position with The Chanticleer Foundation
Grab a Job Working Outdoors in a Beautiful Garden
Our friends from the Chanticleer Foundation are hiring a Seasonal Groundskeeper to perform various duties associated with turf grass and landscape maintenance. Examples include daily mowing, trimming, and blowing of garden lawns and walkways, moving and cleaning garden furniture, fertilization, and spot spraying of lawns and beds. The groundskeeper reports to the Assistant Grounds Manager and works in cooperation with the Grounds Manager and Grounds team to accomplish the daily and weekly tasks for the property.

  • Possess a valid state driver’s license or ID.
  • Have one to two years of turfgrass/landscape work experience.
  • Possess the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
  • Have a willingness to learn new grounds maintenance techniques.
  • Able to work independently or with others on tasks.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Have prior experience working with machinery.
  • Legally able to work in the United States.
  • Work a 40-hour workweek, Monday thru Friday: 7:30am – 4pm. Some limited weekend work is required during the year.
  • The timeframe of employment is March – mid-December (weather dependent).

Building Your Personal and Business Credit
Understanding Personal Credit
New Date! Tuesday, March 23rd • 12pm - 1:30pm
Philly Real Estate moguls Lorenzo Jackson and Anthony Lee are partnering with WPSI to provide a series of virtual seminars for our alumni! First up is learning how to build one’s personal credit. Join us to discuss how you can build your credit, understand your credit score, and more! 
How to Obtain Business Credit
New Date! Thursday, April 15th • 12pm - 1:30pm
In addition to fixing your personal credit, we will be learning how to build and manage credit for any of our start-ups and ventures with an emphasis on real estate investing. Join us to discuss how you can obtain an LLC and set your business up for success.
1st Time Home Buyer Seminar
Tuesday, April 20th • 12pm - 1:30pm
Lorenzo and Anthony will conduct a 1st time home buyer seminar that will walk you through the home buying process from start to finish. They will cover the following topics:
  • How to select the right real estate agent
  • How to select a mortgage broker
  • Steps needed to be approved for a mortgage
  • The home inspection process
  • What to look for in the real estate contract
Different Career Paths in Real Estate
Wednesday, April 28th • 12pm - 1:30pm
Lorenzo and Anthony will cover the following career paths and steps needed to enter the following occupations:
