Women's History Month: Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope
|
|
Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987. Women’s History Month 2022 will take place from Tuesday, March 1-Thursday, March 31, 2022.
The National Women’s History Alliance designates a yearly theme for Women's History Month. The 2022 theme is "Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope." This theme is "both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history."
The 2022 theme proudly honors those who, in both public and private life, provide healing and promote hope for all of us. Check out this video highlighting some inspiring moments from women in our history.

- Impact Survey Part 2: Financial & Operations Data
-
To help us understand the scope and depth of our work (beyond call volume) we are seeking general information on operations and financial support from our network. Please take some time to complete Part 2 of the Impact Survey due Thursday, March 31.
- Affordable Connectivity Program
- Congress recently created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a new long-term, $14 billion program, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB). This investment in broadband affordability will help ensure many Americans can afford the connections they need for work, school, health care and more for a long time. On March 1 the monthly benefit for legacy EBB households decreased from the $50 EBB program benefit to up to $30 under the ACP (there is no change to the Tribal benefit of $75/month).
