Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in Canada

In my new article for Reader's Digest Canada, I discuss the history of royal jubilee traditions and discuss how Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated in Canada. I have also discussed the Queen's health and royal responses to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in recent media interviews. In the coming weeks, I will be speaking online about The Platinum Jubilee and the Future of the Monarchy (University College London) and Peter the Great and the Building of Saint Petersburg (University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies).

In May-June 2022, I will be teaching an eight week online course at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies about Peter the Great and the Building of Saint Petersburg, discussing the relationship between Russia and the rest of Europe during the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries.
