PCC Board Welcomes New Members
Matthew Bartels, M.D., F.A.A.P., C.P.E., chief medical officer for BlueCross Blue Shield of South Carolina and Christian L. Soura, executive vice president of the South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA) have joined the PCC Board of Directors.

2022 Digital Inclusion Week
PCC receives $450K Health Equity Grant to expand digital inclusion Lenovo donates 1,000 laptop computers for program
PCC has been awarded a $450,000 Health Equity Initiative grant from the South Carolina Office of Rural Health (SCORH) to increase digital inclusion and expand telehealth in rural areas of South Carolina.

Through the program, at least 1,000 rural South Carolina residents will receive digital inclusion training, digital devices and 12 months of cellular internet service.

Spotlight Your Favorite Telehealth Physician
We Want to Hear from You
To spotlight your physician, submit the physician's name, organization and location using our online form by March 18. Your personal information will not be shared. PCC will share the physician's name and practice during National Physicians Week on social media as a telehealth provider.

Broadband Resources
Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program provides a discount of up to a $30 per month toward broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for qualifying households on qualifying Tribal lands. Affordable Connectivity Program enrollment opened on December 31, 2021. Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) recipients fully enrolled as of December 31, 2021 will automatically continue to receive their current monthly benefit of $50 until March 1, 2022.  Most Emergency Broadband Benefit households will not have to take any action to continue receiving the new $30 monthly benefit after March 1, 2022.
