The Berea Craft Festival is glad to receive artist applications from those creating high quality, original work for the upcoming July art festival.

Festival dates are July 8, 9 and 10, 2022.

Catch The Leprechaun 5K
Saturday, March 26 at 9AM

Join The Berea Chamber of Commerce for all the shenanigans in this inaugural race and the opportunity to catch the Leprechaun to win prizes!

This race will benefit the Berea Chamber of Commerce and will include their Catch The Leprechaun Challenge. If you can catch and beat the Running Leprechaun, then you'll be eligible to win prizes from his Pot of Gold.


Pinnacle Jazzfest
Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 1PM - 10:30PM

The Pinnacle Jazzfest of Berea is a FREE, all-day event. Performers include: The Michael Cruse Band, Will Boyd and Kelle Jolly, The Bruce Lewis Trio, and the James Powell Quartet. Other highlights will be a masterclass and open jazz jam hosted by our featured artist, Michael Cruse, a children’s coloring station, and artist vendors.

Makerspace Open House

Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 8PM - 9:30PM

Are you curious what they do at Makerspace? Do you have a project you need to complete? Do you want to partner with the Makerspace?

They are limiting their open houses to 4 people in order to space everyone appropriately, so they are requiring registration at least a day prior to the event. If you have signed up for a membership ahead of time at bereamakerspace.org, this will count for your new member orientation. Only sign up if you are planning on coming. If this time does not work for you, contact them at info@bereamakerspace.org to schedule a visit.

All members and visitors are encouraged to wear a mask when sharing the space with others. Please be considerate.

Berea KY Tourism LearnShops
Berea KY Tourism LearnShops offer the next step in your artistic journey. With year-round courses you can explore a broad range of art, including music, painting, authentic Appalachian crafts, woodworking, and so much more.

Whether you are looking for a class for beginners or you are already an experienced artist, take your skills to the next level with LearnShops.

All programs are taught by talented artists and professionals. The LearnShop programs include seasonal weekend LearnShops, The Berea Festival of LearnShops (July 15-24, 2022), and the popular Make It Take It Give It LearnShop for the Holidays.
Teaching from the Berea Urban Farm
Sustainable Berea is offering a free educational series via Zoom for those new to home gardening. Each 45-minute event will begin with a short lesson on a specific topic that will help guide beginners through their first growing season.

Second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10 am to 10:45 am.

Grow Your Own Mushrooms
HomeGrown HideAways is pleased to announce the return of their Mushroom Inoculation Workshop. Learn about which trees to cut for logs and when to cut them; methods of inoculation; placement and care; plus take a tour of the farm! All mushroom spawn is from Field and Forest Products and certified organic. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS!
