How to Celebrate Women's History Month 2022
Celebrate women's contributions to history, culture, and society
Host a Virtual Event

There are several virtual events that you can host. For example, a book club or a Q&A session with guest speakers, these events can bring women and their allies together to celebrate Women’s History Month.

  • Guest Speaker - Hosting an event lets your organization bring in experts to educate staff about professional topics, women’s issues, and the intersection of these two categories.

  • Conduct Informational Sessions - To take a deeper dive into the conversations affecting women, you can conduct virtual breakout sessions for employees.

  • Plan a workshop - While there’s usually still a main speaker or facilitator involved, workshops are unique in that participants are usually encouraged to be hands-on and think critically about what they’re learning.
Volunteer

There are several ways to give back to the community and support women. Volunteer at organizations that work to empower women or volunteer your time to be a mentor.
Share Educational Resources

Share educational resources such as a one-pager, books, podcasts, TED Talks, documentaries, and articles. These resources can highlight how everyone can help make a difference, educate, and celebrate this month and throughout the year.

Check out the curated lists from TED Conferences, Entertainment Tonight, and CNN. The resources feature inspirational women speaking & writing about a multitude of different topics.
