We are almost there … the finish line is in sight!

This may sound a bit presumptuous, but it feels like we are getting closer to the end of the pandemic. With many of the restrictions lifting this month it will be nice to have things get back to normal (albeit maybe a “new” normal).

On the topic of restrictions being lifted, we would like to inform our customers that we will continue to follow local health unit protocols and guidelines, as they evolve. We recognize, however, that our customers may not share the same level of comfort during this process. For this reason, we will continue to offer curbside pickup and delivery services. If you require special accommodation or assistance, please let us know.

We would like to thank customers for choosing to support a local family-run businesses like ours. As we’ve said many times, you are the reason we LOVE what we do!

Thank You For Supporting Home Horizon

On Saturday, February 26^th, Team Orchard Health Foods walked 5kms in support of Home Horizon. Home Horizon supports homeless youth in our area.

We raised an unbelievable $1,500 for this charity thanks in large measure to the tremendous generosity of our customers, suppliers, and community members.

We would like to give a special shout-out to Sarah Coulter and Kaide Morrison, grade 10 students at Collingwood Collegiate Institute. Sarah and Kaide worked tirelessly over three weekends to help with our fundraising efforts at the store. Thank you, Sarah and Kaide, for your hard work and for recognizing the importance of helping others!

We would also like to thank our friends (and customers) Kathleen Wills and Tim Peloso who braved the cold and supported the cause by walking. Oh, and we can’t forget our beautiful four-legged mascot, “Holly” (the dolly) Peloso!
