March Social Media Toolkit:

This Women’s History Month, SCORE is spotlighting resources to support America’s women entrepreneurs and offering volunteer opportunities for experienced female business owners. We have created the following toolkit for SCORE Social Media Chairs to help celebrate this observance in their local online communities.


This toolkit serves as a resource guide for participating chapters to promote SCORE services, highlight success stories from female-owned businesses and spread the word about the resources available to help women entrepreneurs thrive! This collection of materials includes a combination of graphics, articles, events, templates and even suggested copy to use throughout the month of March on your chapter’s channels.

March Social Media Updates:

Deadline Approaching: Opt-in to Quarterly Boosts by March 15


Through the Chapter Social Media Program, chapters have the ability to opt-in to optional, paid social media campaigns executed by experts from the Hiper Community Management Team. The most cost-efficient of these is the "Quarterly Content Boosts" package, and the deadline for Q3 is fast approaching! By opting in, your chapter's Facebook posts from the approved Chapter Social Media Calendar will be automatically boosted, increasing reach on average 68X.

Chapter Workshop Promotion to Remain on Facebook Post-Event Pilot


In Q1, Hiper completed a pilot to determine the optimal channel for promoting local chapter workshops. Events were tested in Facebook, LinkedIn and Google for a pilot group of 10 chapters. At the end of the pilot (Dec 2022), the data did not support a network change from Facebook. Facebook generated 7X more website sessions than Google and 4X more website sessions than LinkedIn.

Chapter Success Story Pilot Has Officially Begun


In FY23, we are looking for ways to evolve the Chapter Social Media Program and help your chapters have an even greater impact in your local online communities. One way we believe we can achieve this is through unique, localized success story content sourced from chapter websites and published individually on the coordinating chapter’s centrally managed social media channels. We have officially launched a pilot with 10 participating chapters to test out the scalability of this content development and look forward to updating you on progress in Q3.

Live Training: How to Use New Social Media Toolkits


Our new social media toolkits contain a collection of graphics, articles, events, templates and even suggested copy available for use by Social Media Chairs. The idea is for you to layer in the additional, observance-related content on your chapter's social media channels, and we aimed to make it as easy as possible to do so! In our February webinar, we provided a live demonstration of exactly how to use these toolkits in combination with our SOCi social media management tool.

National Volunteer Month Prep: Explore Paid Campaign Options


April is National Volunteer Month, and we know that many chapters use this observance to double down on their own recruitment efforts. If you are interested in sourcing new volunteers soon, we highly recommend the Lead Generation on LinkedIn package offered by the Hiper Community Management Team. Stephen Troutman of Southeast MN ran a Q4 campaign and offered the following feedback:


"From our limited demographic area, of probably only 200,000 people, you found nine candidates. I consider the results to be outstanding."
