Happy MARCH everyone!
First, an update on the lap pool. I am at my desk right now looking out at work being done on the initial leak, and I am hopeful that no further problems are diagnosed and the repairs can be done quickly. However, as of this newsletter, I don't know anything for sure. I will send an update out in a separate eblast as soon as I have more information.
Also, we appreciate everyone's patience with the temporary use of disinfectant spray and paper towel in the gym. We had a brief issue in being able to source the gym wipes residents prefer, so in the interim we went back to using the disinfecting solution we used during COVID. But many gym users will be happy to know that our shipment of gym wipes has been confirmed and we will go back to business as usual later this week.
This is a great opportunity to point out that, if at any time you see an issue (such as depleted paper towel in the gym) it is best to report it to a Vesta employee so we can resolve the situation quickly. Even during this part of the year when the office closes at 9PM and and is closed on Mondays, we have gym monitor staff who is on duty until 11PM. During these shifts they perform a variety of tasks, like walking through the gym at regular intervals, doing light cleaning, and monitoring the cameras and badge-ins from the office. If you don't immediately see someone, just knock on the office door and that staff member will be happy to assist you.
