You bring the seeds, and we will have seed starter pots for you to plant your seeds and give you tips on how to care for your seedlings before you plant them!

This workshop/meetup is free, but registration is required so we can plan accordingly. Sign up at the Avoca Check Out desk!
Ever wonder exactly what a credit score is and why you should be building it? Come to this free workshop on Wednesday, March 8 at 11:00 AM in the Frances Kegley Conference Room, and Sarah Williams, Financial Wellbeing Coach, will answer your questions and give you tools to improve your money management.

This workshop is free and open to the public, but we do ask that you register in advance at the Check Out desk so we know how many participants to expect.
Shut Up and Write Workshop: Thursdays from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Join us for an hour (or two) of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 5:30 PM on Thursday evenings.

**SCHEDULE:**
5:30 PM: Getting settled
5:45 PM: Timer starts: write for 1 hour
6:45 PM: Five minute stretch break! You can also leave for the day if you need to (sometimes an hour is exactly the right amount and sometimes you need more!) You can also keep writing if you'd like and ignore the break.
7:30 PM: The End: chat, take off, or keep writing

**OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens at 7:30. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.

**BEING LATE OR LEAVING EARLY IS OKAY:** just show up and get settled and start writing. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. If you need to leave early, you can leave any time you need to.

**What Should I Bring?**
Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to listen to music for inspiration, help with focus, or any other reason that suits you. If you write on a laptop, we recommend bringing a laptop charger or fully charging your laptop beforehand.
