If you were around in the early years of BWIM and might have pictures, we would love to have copies of them as we are creating opportunities to remember! You can email scans of any photos to meredithstone@bwim.info.

We hope you are participating in BWIM Month of Advocacy this month! If you haven't yet, it's not too late! And if you are, we want to hear about it!

Congregations, we are asking you to invite a woman to preach and engage in one of our suggested forms of advocacy listed on the website.

And as in the past, we want to know about your participation in Month of Advocacy so our community can celebrate with you and learn from you. Both churches and individuals can register their participation by filling out this form!

Instead of hosting our annual gathering prior to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's General Assembly, we will have a banquet at the Hyatt Regency, Downtown Atlanta on Thursday evening, June 29, 2023 during CBF General Assembly. Tickets are now available for purchase!

Then, on October 2-4, 2023 we will return to where it all began in 1983, Louisville, Kentucky! We will remember and honor our first 40 years while also looking forward to how our history might inform our ongoing work toward women thriving as they minister and lead within Baptist communities. Stay connected to receive more details this event in the days ahead.

We need your help to honor excellent mentors of women and churches who have taken bold actions to support women in ministry!

We are receiving nominations for the 2023 Frankie Huff Granger Distinguished Mentor Award and the BWIM Church of Excellence awards through April 6. Please visit the pages linked below to find more information including award criteria, previous nominees, and nomination forms.

BWIM has partnered with Baptist News Global (BNG) to celebrate and promote the strong writing voices of women! BWIM is advocating for women's equal representation in Baptist media by uplifting women's writing and encouraging women's increased participation in shaping Baptist life, culture, and theology.

If you know a Baptist woman who has been ordained or will be ordained, please email names and pictures (if possible) to lynnbrinkley@bwim.info. BWIM wants to share in celebrating congregational affirmation of all women in ministry, and it helps us to keep records of all of the women in Baptist life who are ordained.
