March 2024

Message from Dean Egerstedt

We are continuing to fire on all cylinders in the Samueli School of Engineering in terms of the scope and scale of our research programs. I am happy to report that during the first half of this fiscal year, we broke (by a substantial margin) all previous sponsored research records. In addition, our students are continuing to do important and impactful work, which will be clearly on display during our 2024 Annual Design Review on Friday, March 15 from 1-4 p.m. in the UCI Student Center. This event is free and open to the public. You are all welcome to drop by to support our students and check out their projects.

Best,

Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
