Unit Leaders can now confirm enrollments in ZSuite


We are pleased to announce a new feature in ZSuite available to volunteers with unit management permissions. Primary, Assistant, and Co-Community leaders and Enrollment Coordinators with Active enrollments can confirm youth and volunteers with primary enrollment in their unit.


Confirming an enrollment in your unit is a way to communicate with your local 4-H county office. Please see the Unit Leaders Confirming Enrollments helpsheet for more information and check with your local county office for their preference on use of this feature.

The California 4-H State Leadership Conference (SLC) is the premiere statewide leadership event. Participants experience a glance into life on the UC Davis campus, attend educational workshops and tours both on campus and off. 4-H Youth will have opportunities to meet their peers from across the state and be mentored by recent 4-H Alumni.

Now recruiting for the following positions at SLC:


Teen Facilitators

Senior 4-H Youth members that will lead group discussions with the intermediate-age participants. See the Teen Facilitator requirements and application.


Program Assistants

Recent 4-H Alumni that will lead groups of senior-age participants. See the Program Assistant requirements and application.


Chaperones

4-H Adult Volunteers with at least one year’s experience. See the Chaperone requirements and application.

Call for SLC Workshop Proposals


The 2024 State Ambassador Educational Platform is Resilience. With resilience, our youth can thrive in a changing the world. Resilience is key to overcoming adversity, adapting to change, and managing stress. Setbacks are inevitable. Resilience helps them bounce back.

Youth Mental Health First Aid

Become a Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18.

With support from the State 4-H office we are able to provide this training free of charge and with some travel reimbursement available. All training materials are included.

Wyoming 4-H Virtual Career Night

March 19, 5pm PST (6pm MST)


Have you ever thought about being a midwife, a wildlife refuge manager, a wildlife fire fighter, fly fishing guide, a wildlife biologist, an airplane mechanic, how about a film producer or going into sports medicine? Then this event is for YOU! Join us to explore a variety of career options and get your questions answered about what degree do you need, should you do an internship, what you need to do in high school to get ready for a career and much more! We will hear from the Peterson Farm Brothers as they entertain and remind why following our dreams the best decision ever! We will have door prizes and lots of fun to be had throughout the evening.

Teens aged 14-19 are encouraged to apply to the 4-H Youth in Action Program for the chance to tell their 4-H impact story and win a $5k educational scholarship.
