DCNR's C2P2 Program Now Open

The Community Conservation Partnerships Program is now open for applications for funding for projects related to parks, recreation, and conservation. The deadline to apply is April 3, 2024, and counties, municipalities, municipal agencies, nonprofit organizations and others may apply. Some grant types are also open for for-profit organizations.

DCED Multi-Purpose Community Facilities Program Launches

Federal ARPA funds are being used to fund this program at DCED for community projects that construct, acquire, or improve facilities that are or will be open to the public and directly enable work, education, and health monitoring. This is a brand new program that is open to units of local government and community anchor institutions. The application deadline is April 20, 2024.

DCED Manufacturing PA Training-to-Career Grant

Funding is being made available for the development and deployment of workforce training programs for individuals with barriers to employment and youth around manufacturing career opportunities. Eligible applicants include technical and trade schools, school districts, post-secondary academic institutions, workforce investment boards, economic development organizations, and nonprofit organizations. The application deadline is a rolling deadline while funds remain available.

Act 13 Programs

Since 2012, the Marcellus Legacy Fund distributes unconventional gas well impact fees to counties, municipalities and commonwealth agencies. Applications are accepted annually between February 1 and May 31. Open programs include the Greenways, Trails and Recreation program, the Orphan or Abandoned Well Plugging Program, the Sewage Facilities Program, and the Watershed Restoration Protection Program. Open Grant Programs with Upcoming Deadlines

DEP's Small Business Advantage Grant Program provides matching grants to assist small businesses undertaking energy efficiency, pollution prevention, or natural resource conservation projects. Grant applications for funding between $5,000 and $8,000 will be accepted through March 22, 2024, or when funds are exhausted.

PCCD's 2024-25 Justice Assistance Grant for Local Initiatives is accepting application through March 28, 2024. Applicants include local governments, counties, and non-profit organizations. Approximately 30-35 grants will be awarded to implement programs and projects that address the objectives of PCC's Strategic Framework.

DOH's WalkWorks Grant provides funds to assist with the development of a plan to identify and prioritize projects related to modes of active transportation with an emphasis on walking, biking, using a wheelchair, and public transit. The deadline is March 22, 2024.

PCCD's Innovative PA Academic and Career/Technical Training Projects will provide grants of up to $75,000 to support efforts designed to further develop the job readiness, academic, and employability skills of youth involved in the juvenile justice system. The application deadline is March 22, 2024.
